Canada Day

I am so excited to have tomorrow off to enjoy Canada Day. I will be out and about enjoying festivites, I will probably be going to Fort Erie to Enjoy the Friendship Festival.

I love Canada 🙂

Here is our Anthem:

O Canada!

Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

…With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Great weekend!

I just came back from camping at Rockpoint Provincial park in Dunnville. I had a great weekend with my friends, we sat around the fire, had a few bevs and enjoyed the scenery on the beach. The weather was overcast for most of the weekend, and we had a few showers Friday night. We toughed it out with our plastic ponchos, and one homemade blue recyled bag poncho for Susie 🙂 The raccoons enjoyed most of our food while we hiked down to the beach. They opened our coolers and helped themselves to 6 sandwiches, lunchmeat, 6 burgers, a tub of potato salad and a bag of santa fe salad. We were a little ticked, but lesson learned, we secured our coolers for the rest of the weekend. Thank goodness for KK’s taco dip and Nancy’s devilled eggs…lol

Rockpoint Provincial park is a beautiful park to visit. We enjoyed a treed setting and a secluded campsite. The beach near the park store is really beautiful with picnic tables on the beach and in the park nearby.

I can’t wait to go camping again. Thanks Mary for giving us lots of giggles this weekend 🙂

Business Cards

After a lot of thought, I decided to order business cards. Staples has a great sale right now that I took advantage of, 500 cards for $20 (colour). What a great deal!

I’m trying to create a “brand image” with my logo. I like the style of this card, so I thought I would try it out, it may end up being my business colours (black/green/white).

I will be posting my “packaging” pictures soon. All orders come in a white jewellery box, with a small card included to describe the piece and is given in a white gift bag with tissue paper ready to give as a gift. My logo is stamped on the bag and I will soon be including business cards.

I wanted to personally thank our Town Clerk, Nancy Bozzato, for referring my last client to me. It’s great to have local support and to have the opportunity to meet new members of the community. I love going to the Fonthill Market to support local businesses and I always look through the Pelham Business Directory to find local businesses to service my needs.

Thanks again Nancy,
